Welcome 6th  graders!  I'm Mrs. Ancelo.  I'm incredibly excited to meet all of you.  As 6th  graders, you set the example for our younger students, so a positive attitude and sprinkling kindness here and there will rub off on others.  

This year starts my 23rd year teaching.  I previously taught in Trenton & Hopewell, grades 6-8, before coming to Chesterfield.  I live nearby in Cream Ridge, so I don't have to travel far to get to my students.  I love teaching and learning too!  I graduated from Cabrini College with a degree in Elementary Education in 2001.  A few years later, I earned a Master's Degree in Special Education from Rider University and another Master's Degree in Behavioral Psychology.  

Aside from teaching, my hobbies include; cooking, exercising, being outdoors, and spending quality time with my family.  I'm happily married to my husband, Anthony.  We have two beautiful children, Ava, my 6 1/2- year- old, and Anthony Joseph, who has just celebrated his 4th birthday.  I also have a 19-year-old stepson, Matthew.  I'm sure you'll hear many funny stories about my kids.  I'm an animal lover with an English Cream Golden Retriever named Gus, and a cat, Yukon Cornelious.
