ABOUT ME

Welcome 6th graders! I'm Ms. Johnson, and I'm incredibly excited to meet you all. As 6th graders, you set the example for our younger students, so a positive attitude and sprinkling kindness here and there will rub off on others.

I attended Rowan University, where I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education (K-6), an Endorsement as a Teacher of Students with Disabilities, and an endorsement as a Teacher of Reading.

The 2023-2024 school year will be my sixth year here at Chesterfield Elementary School (go Dragons!). Before working at CES, I worked at Pearson Elementary School in Delanco, and I student taught at Richard Rice Elementary School in Evesham.

Aside from teaching, my hobbies include playing my Switch, reading, and playing with my cat Luna! This summer was very busy - I spent the first half of my summer teaching the Extended School Year, and then visiting my older sister Liz in California! It was a very exciting and busy summer!

I am really looking forward to a fantastic year! Remember to always try your best, that’s all I will ever ask of you!!
