Dear Families,

Welcome to Second Grade! I can’t believe summer is coming to an end and school is just around the corner. Throughout the year please feel free to call, write, or e-mail if you have any questions or concerns. I have found that a cohesive team between the parents and teacher helps to maximize the students' overall learning experience.  Don't forget to sign up for REMIND texts to get updates about what's going on in our class. 

I have been dedicated to teaching at Chesterfield since 2007, where I have enjoyed teaching both 4th and 2nd grade.  I love teaching and the connections I form with my students.  In my spare time you will find me spending time with my family.  I have a 7 year old, Emma, and an almost 2 year old, Juliana.  We love spending time at the beach, on our boat, and simply being with each other!  The class will hear lots of silly stories of them through the year! 

School begins on Thursday, September 5th. It is a full day of school. I'm excited to announce that CES will be providing our school supplies (folders, crayons, makers, etc.)  Please have your child pack a healthy snack, any other supplies they may be bringing and most of all, a SMILE!  I can't wait to meet everyone!
