WELCOME!

A little bit about Mrs. Mueller:

I have been teaching for 25+ years. My heart has always been in teaching young children.  I have been lucky to teach 5 years in the private sector (grades 2, 3 & 4); and 22 years in the public sector. Sixteen years of which have been in kindergarten and first grade; 2 years as special ed./preschool; and 4 years as a Reading Specialist/Literacy Coach.

When I am not teaching, I enjoy being outdoors. Both Mr. Mueller and I enjoy spending lots of time with our dogs, Yogi and Charlie.  Some of our favorite things to do are swimming in our pool, going to the beach, freshwater fishing, and taking motorcycle rides through the countryside. Some places we were fortunate to visit on our motorcycle include New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, South Dakota, and Wyoming. Throughout the year you will hear lots of stories about my boys, my silly husband, and our crazy dogs. 

A little bit about Mrs. Woodruff:

This is my 24th year of teaching and I absolutely love it!  Twenty-two of my years have been teaching kindergarten and first grade. Last year, I co-taught in a third-grade class and was lucky enough to have a few students that I taught in kindergarten here at CES. I am glad to be back where I belong, with the littles. 

When I am not teaching, I am on a field watching my kiddos play baseball or football. I recently celebrated my 19th wedding anniversary. I was lucky enough to find my best friend in high school. We met at the age of fifteen at Archbishop Ryan High School on the cross-country team. We have two amazing kiddos: Ryan and Andrew. Ryan is a junior and looking forward to getting his license soon.  Andrew is headed to middle school this year and is excited to have a locker at school. We have a crazy dog too; his name is Bailey. He protects our house from walkers, the mail courier and the amazon delivery guy. We travel as much as we can and enjoy life. We spend most of our winter skiing and the summer sitting poolside or on a beach. 

 We are ready to have another wonderful year together. Our friendship began almost ten years ago when we taught kindergarten here at Chesterfield and has grown over the years. We both have experience of co-teaching and are beyond excited to have the chance to teach together. We are looking forward to a new school year with our littles, and we'll see you all REAL soon!
