I am Carla Rigolizzo, your child's Kindergarten teacher! I am delighted to be on this learning adventure with you and your child at Chesterfield Elementary School.
For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to be an educator. I have had so many wonderful educators in my lifetime and it is my hope that I emulate the parts of them that made such a lasting impression on me. I want our room to be an extension of home, where every child feels welcome, comfortable and respected. It is my hope that school becomes one of your child's favorite places to be.
I received my BA and Graduate Level Teacher Certification from Rider University. I have been working in education since 1997, and have been teaching Kindergarten since 2004.
My husband and I are the proud parents of Isabella, who is 13 years old and Julianna who is 10! We are also the parents of our "dog-ter"s, Mocha--a rescued Staffie who loves snuggling in blankets and chasing squirrels and rabbits & Luna- our new puppy who is 75% cute and 25% trouble maker! We spend a lot of time at our home in Chincoteague, Virginia-- our happy place.
